How do you erase songs from cd's that you burned yourself in windows media player?
Q. I'm trying my hand at learning how to make my own collection. I've recorded the rosary for my mon succesfully but some cd's only have one song on them from my trials and errors. I'm either trying to add to the one song or erase it totally.

A. The only way you can rewrite a CD (that is, edit its songs, delete, or add), it must be a CD-RW (RW stands for rewritable). So basically, if the CD is not rewritable, it's permanent. Recycle.

How can I erase a bunch of statuses off my facebook without having to do each one manually?
Q. I don't want to block certain people from my status updates, but i want to add someone who can;t read some of them so I need to erase a lot of them over the last six months!! Is there a way to do that without having to click every single one and hit delete?
Asked by Jai247 - Fri Feb 27 12:29:56 2009 - Facebook - 1 Answers - Comments
A. Under your display settings you can choose which apps to show or not show on your profile. Disable the status one. But if you already have a bunch of status', I dont think you can delete them all at once.

How do I erase everything off of my computer except for my operating system?
Q. My computer is running very very very slow and has a virus on it.Also it is not connected to the internet.I want to know how i can erase everything so i can try and get it running again and start from scratch.

A. If you are trying to clean the computer to the factory specifications then the easiest way is to use the factory recovery disc or recovery partition. This will wipe the hard drive clean and reset it to the factory specs like when it was brand new. If you have a recovery disc, just boot to the disc and then follow the prompts to reinstall. Good Luck.

A. you really need someone who knows what they are doing. if you don't really know what you're doing then i wouldn't recommend it cos you can seriously mess up your computer. when you put the disc in (if its a decent copy) it should ask you what you want to do. if theres an option of formatting your computer then that's the one you need, but only do this as i say, if you know what you're doing, and only do this if it is an option on the installation software on the disc, don't do it any other way. but if you do it wrong, your computer is next to useless. formatting it deletes everything. sound drivers, the drivers for your internet, keyboard, and programs eg microsoft word, the lot. it doesn't just delete music and pictures and documents etc,… [cont.]

What method should I use to erase all data in ps3 without erasing the important data?
Q. In the manual of PS3, they warned me to restore the PS3 with care for not to erase the important data. My system is full so I need to delete them for more space. So tell me the best method to delete everything except the important data. Thanks.
Asked by Professional PC - Mon Jul 27 16:25:55 2009 - Other - Computers - 1 Answers - Comments
A. Trailers, demos and game saves all take up data and are not important, so i would delete these. To do this simply press triangle over the item you wish to delete and choose delete. If you are deleting demos and trailers you can always download them from the store again. Make sure to back up your game saves if you delete them so that you have them if you change your mind. To back up game saves insert a memory stick, then click triangle on the game save and click copy. Hope I helped.

How do i erase all my insecurities and attain a calm mind?
Q. How do i erase all my insecurities and achieve internal peace of mind?
Asked by - Mon Oct 4 11:03:41 2010 - Philosophy - 6 Answers - Comments
A. Try not being attached to your thoughts and/or feelings that causes you to be insecure. If such a thought or feeling pops up unconsciously, then just hear it without acting on it, like hearing a radio without paying attention to it. Realize that the thoughts and feelings that makes you feel insecure are not who you are but just sense impressions that one may choose to act or not act upon. As for attaining a calm mind, do exactly what I said earlier but with all your negative thoughts and feelings. If that isn't enough, then try to will yourself to feel calm. All this may seem tough at first, but with enough practice you'll soon find it easy. Remember, you control your mind, your mind does not control you.

A. Hey, this is Feran with the IE Outreach Team. Go to Tools then Delete Browsing History. Also in IE8 you can enable the In Private browsing mode which helps prevent your browsing history, temporary Internet files, form data, cookies, and usernames and passwords from being retained by the browser. Click Safety and choose In Private Browsing.

A. Well the advice by ___kiss___ is not a recommended at all by the professionals. It will damage the memory card if you do so. If you want to delete individual pictures, then you can select the picture on your camera and delete it. But if you want to delete all the pictures, you have an option Erase all pictures in the camera memu when you are on the playback mode. But don't use that. To make sure the life of the memory card is maintained, format the memory card. Format option is in the menu when you are in the playback mode. But the menu is different in almost all different cameras. So you need to go through the menu options in your camera.

That's my favorite. As to selling it on e Bay... That's a good idea... ...and... ...a really, really bad idea. A good idea because you'll get a few bucks. How to erase all files in computer without using recovery tool?
Q. I need to clean-up some computers and leave them just like new. (Erase pictures, music, cookies, browsing history, etc.) I know I can use the recovery tool, (they are Vaio) but this takes too much time(2+hrs). Is there a software that can do that without taking so much time? The computer has a recovery software. The thing is that I need to cleanup these notebooks for resale, and 2hr for each notebook is way too much time. Do you believe that entering in every folder to delete files would be a better solution?

If you no longer have the disc that your computer came with then the drivers can be found on the website of your computer manufacturer (Acer, HP, etc).
